Description
I am living in a large, quiet 2 bedroom apartment in the Zona Viva of Guatemala City. The apartment is on the ground floor surrounded by lovely gardens with 24 hour security. There is a private patio. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other a double. The living room has a double futon sofa. The kitchen has an electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Laundry facilities are available in the complex. Maid service is available. 2 bathrooms. I am within walking distance to shopping, theaters, night life, restaurants, and a short bus or taxi ride form the National Theater and the historic cultural center of the city. Antigua, the colonial capitol, is about an hour away and Lake Atitlan another hour beyond that. Many volcanos are in the area that you can hike. I am a music teacher (non-smoker). The climate is lovely here. 75F - 78F all year long. Always sunny in the mornings. I don't have a car but public transportation and taxis are abundant and cheap.
