| My house is in Wanaka, by Lake Wanaka, in the beautiful south island of NZ. It is a simple house, without tv or computer, but everyone loves the relaxed feel of the house which has lovely lake and mountain views, a new bathroom and bunkroom, and a back deck to catch all the morning sun. Afternoon sun streams in the afternoon from the west.
30 minutes to nearest skifeild, Cardrona, which is great for all the family...and at least two other skifields within one hour away. Wanaka is 40 minutes from Queenstown, no.1 place on the must see towns in NZ. Wanaka, is of course, better! Summer offers as much if not more than winter. There are no blackflies or mosquitoes. Although Wanaka is quite small, it has good coffee, restaurants, and people. Come to nourish your souls here. I am looking to visit New York in October/September this year, but my house is available even if I am still in NZ too, as it is my second home. | |
